Description: The Braille Alphabet With Alphabetic Word Signs by Jack Hartmann and Jessica Hayes MS ED was developed to assist students with visual impairments, and their families, learn the Braille Alphabet and their corresponding word signs. Each letter of the alphabet has a corresponding word sign. The letters of the alphabet when they are standing alone have a corresponding word sign. For example In Braille when you read the letter k, it can make the /k/ sound when part of a word. It represents the word knowledge when it is standing alone with a space on either side. In this song, we are representing the Alphabetic Braille Word Signs. Most of the letters of the alphabet have a corresponding alphabetic word sign. The letter 'a' stand for the word "a", the letter 'i" is written with a capital sign and stands for the word I and the letter "o" never stands alone.
